Prologue

Fire filled the night with a menacing glow. The usually black and silent night was now filled with screams of pain and terror that rose into the night. Flames licked hungrily at the sides of the buildings. A window burst open with an explosion of sparks. A large town just south of Giran was under attack by an unknown race of monsters.  They came on foot at first but then, just as the battle was being won over, they came on large animals the size of horses. A small child stood in the middle of the chaos. She looked dazed and scared, while the adults ran blindly by her too terrified to notice. As the child stood staring at something in the fire a invader ran over to her and raised its weapon. Before it could bring it down the girl was suddenly swept over by flames and she was gone.   Somewhere high above the chaos six shadowy figures outlined by a glass ball's fiery light that reflected from the fiery terrified village below, watched as the inhabitants of the village began to slowly disappear .

"An entire race...gone...forever. Destroyed by those... those... fiends!" A mysterious voice  belonging to one of the six  obscure silhouettes said.

"Not all, look." Another figure said pointing to the glass ball. A small child riding upon what looked to be moving fire, was progressing away from the dying village.

"It will be gone soon if we don't do something about them!" A third figure said gesturing to the two shadows fallowing the girl and catching up fast.

"Yes, we must do something. Shall we fire lightning? Or perhaps cover them in a mist so thick  that it is impossible to escape?" The fourth figure suggested.

"No, we cannot harm them" Said the second figure gritting his teeth in anger. Before another could ask why the fiery monster the child was escaping on turned around sharply , ran at their pursuers and shot two sticks of fire at them. The two sticks went right through them and the dark monstrous figures fell to the ground bleeding black blood.  Then the fiery figure ran off into the night, leaving the screams of pain and terror behind it. That night, May 1st, 1006, an entire race was exterminated.

Chapter 1

The Hero

A gentle wind rustled the long stalks of grass that grew in the Enchanted Valley. A Satyr grunted as a handsome blue ghost horse pounded its horn on his hard armored belly. A Beautiful female elf stood not too far off, chanting another of her agonizing spells. The elf was wearing a white chain tunic with another emerald-green under tunic. The white outer tunic was split in half showing the magnificent under tunic. Crystaldawn repeated the words to one of her most powerful spells, Solar Spark; which unleashes a powerful electric attack. Just as her unicorn, Merrow, made and crack in the Satyr's she finished her chant. A large loud crackling sound was heard just before a considerably abundant  blast of blue white lightning crashed from the sky and onto the Satyr.  It fell to the ground with electric shocks still flowing in its body. Crystaldawn had been training in the Enchanted Valley for hours and was now at beginning to get a little tiered. She was having a harder time than usual because the Satyrs and Lily elders seemed to be coming after her more frequently and seemed to be more aggressive than usual.

Suddenly she heard the sound of another person fighting nearby. Curious Crystaldawn looked for the source and found it quickly, for she was quite good at tracking. Crystaldawn looked behind a boulder and saw a dark elf, which looked about level fifty-six. He was fighting five monsters at once and looked like his movements were getting slower. Crystaldawn jumped out and spoke the words the Battle Heal spell, a spell that heals faster than any other healing spells.  The dark elf looked surprised at first but soon focused back on the mob. Once Crystaldawn was sure the dark elf didn’t need any more healing, she also turned to the mob and began attacking. The mob was gone in a matter of minutes.  After the mob was gone Crystaldawn un-summoned her magnificent unicorn; Merrow and turned to the dark elf.

                “Are you okay?” she asked.

“Yeah…thank you… for helping me,” the dark elf replied in between breaths.

“No problem,” she replied and then thought about giving him some buffs for strength. First she used Might, Shield, and Concentration. Then she used Clarity, Agility, and Regeneration. Finally she used the Kiss of Eva, Decrease Weight, and Advanced Block.

“Wow, thank you very much! What’s your rate level? How long have you been training for? And what’s your name? Mine is Xalvigar and I have a rate of fifty-eight,” Xalvigar said all at once.

“Slow down! My name is Crystaldawn, I've been training for 5 years and I'm rated  a level fifty by the six leaders,” Crystaldawn answered.

“Do you want to join me here? I’ll be happy to help you improve your levels” Xalvigar asked.

“Sure!” Crystaldawn said happily.  There was a sudden loud bark and Crystaldawn looked down at  her little red hatchling.

“What the- how did you get out of your recorder?! Ugh don’t tell me you’re already hungry! I just fed you fifteen minutes ago!” she exclaimed. When Rinack still looked at here in that same pitiful way she finally gave in.

“Oh fine here’s some more,” Crystaldawn said putting some hatchling food in its inventory. Xalvigar looked at the hatchling curiously.

“You have a hatchling? Awesome! What rate level is it and what is its name?” Xalvigar asked.

“He’s at a rate level of forty-nine, and his name is Rinack,” Crystaldawn replied, as Rinack rubbed his head against her leg and looked at her with pleading eyes again.

“I just fed you less than a minute ago!" She said looking back at the little hatchling with concern in her eyes.

"Are you feeling alright? you've been constantly hungry for a few days now" she said."

Wait a second. I haven’t been feeding you the right stuff! No wonder,” said Crystaldawn getting out another package and swapping it with the other food.

“I put an extra ingredient in for more strength and I’ve been giving him the wrong one,” she explained to Xalvigar. "the other one has more sweets and is apparently much better than this stuff" Crystaldawn said holding up the bag of food she'd just poured in Rinack's feeding bag.

“Oh I see. Well we better get going since we’re wasting the sun,” said Xalvigar. The two of them leveled there every day for one and a half weeks. Each day in the afternoon they would meet at the entrance to the Enchanted Valley, the valley in Death Pass, and then fight until they were either too exhausted or until the moon came up. Halfway through the week  on a Friday afternoon Crystaldawn and Xalvigar sat on a cliff overlooking a beautiful lake that shimmered pink and orange from the slowly descending sun. Xalvigar was explaining to Crystaldawn what a fortress was like.

A fortress is a small residential clan area, similar to a clan hall. It can be acquired by winning a fortress siege. Depending on their location, fortresses are either border or territory fortresses, large or small.” He told her.

“What camps are in the fortresses?” asked Crystaldawn.

“Well there are three to five camps located inside the fortress. The five camps include the Officers’ Barracks, Control Room, Archer Unit, Guard Camp and Support Unit. The Command Barracks are located in the center of the various camps.” He explained.

“But it really depends on the fortress size, if the fortress is really big then the rooms could be in different places” he added. He explained many things to her like; Instanced Dungeons, Crafting Recipes, and Clans. By the end of the day Crystaldawn knew everything there was to know about clans dungeons, and crafting recipes. Xalvigar also took the time to tell her a little bit about himself. He told her of his best abilities and talents, what he did most in his spare time, and about the interesting things he did.

"What do you do in your spare time when you're not training?" Xalvigar asked her.

"Well one of the things I do in my spare time was read. Although I never read the fantasy and nonfiction books, I just read the fiction books. That's why I always know how powerful, fast, damage and energy my spells will take up. I also know a lot about several different hunting grounds that I have trained in the past at." explained Crystaldawn.

"Wow cool!" Xalvigar exclaimed

One day when Crystaldawn and Xalvigar were fighting together, Crystaldawn suddenly reached rate level sixty. As the light from the heavens shown down at her, her old rate level burned to ashes and a new scroll containing the information on where she needed to hunt, and what she needed to do next fell from the sky and landed in her out stretched hand.

“Yippy!” she said happily.

“WOOT!!” Xalvigar said twice as loud.

“Hey Cry?”

“Yeah?” Replied Crystaldawn.

“Would you like to join the clan now?” He asked so suddenly that all Crystaldawn could do was stare at him with her mouth wide open, gaping at him.

“R…really?” She said when she recovered from the sudden, unexpected question.

“Yeah, don’t worry I'm sure everyone will like you a lot, and they’re all really nice to! There’s really nothing to worry about” Xalvigar said quickly, trying to comfort her remembering the talk they'd had the other afternoon. Crystaldawn was quiet for awhile, contemplating on what had just occurred.

“Ok I’ll join,” she finally decided.

“ALRIGHT!!!” Xalvigar said with joy. Crystaldawn laughed and said, “So when do I join?”

“Wait one second. I need to tell Sheri that you’re going to join…” Xalvigar said. Crystaldawn stood waiting for what seemed longer than she thought logically.

“Ok, she said that she is very happy. Don’t be afraid of her since she’s really nice. She wants to meet at the clan fortress,” Xalvigar told Crystaldawn. They used some Scrolls of Escape to get back to Hunters Village.

“What village are you from?” asked Xalvigar.

“Um….Eleven Village,” Crystaldawn answered.

“Okay go there,” he said, not seeming to notice the hesitant tone Crystaldawn had released, and he disappeared a few moments later. When Crystaldawn got to the Elven Village Xalvigar asked her where the Mother Tree was. She took him to it and then led him somewhere private.

Xalvigar said, “Okay here is how this works. I’m going to invite you into the clan and on the note I will be giving you there will be an accept” or” decline, circle accept and then sign your name,” Once she did that Xalvigar said,” You’re now an official member,” and then asked if she wanted to meet everyone. Of course she accepted and he took her to Ivory Tower, and walked from there. By now Xalvigar knew more about Crystaldawn than before, so he could tell when she’s upset. Crystaldawn was strangely quiet on the way to the fortress.

“Crystaldawn, are you okay?”Xalvigar asked sounding worried. Crystaldawn jumped slightly and said “oh…yeah I’m fine,” As they walked Xalvigar explained to her what everyone was like.

“Suena’s a dwarf and she’s really nice. She’s also funny and caring, so if you need help with anything all you have to do is ask her, or anyone else in the clan.” He explained.

“Then there is Sheri, who is wise, good at battles, and is good at comforting others,” he said continuing.

“There are eight of us including you,” Xalvigar said.

“The eight include; Sheri, the leader, Wrinkles, Dr.Watson, who lives up to her name, Suena, Reshi, who is the clan joker, and Goodancer, who is really nice. Styx, the clan goof, me, and you.”

“Oh and there is something else you should know about Styx . You’ll be able to tell if he likes you when he acts like a dog.” Xalvigar said.

When they reached the fortress Xalvigar shouted something in ancient language and the doors opened.  They walked in a little ways until they came to another door that Xalvigar opened.  A long hallway gaped before them. Xalvigar grabbed a torch and continued on with Crystaldawn following behind. It was about twenty minutes before the two of them could see a light. A large door loomed in front of the two soon to be clan mates. Suddenly opened by an invisible chain. Xalvigar stepped into the bright room with Crystaldawn behind him. Crystaldawn shielded her eyes from the bright light but once her eyes got used to the bright light she could see what her surroundings were, and all she could do was stare.

The main room was magnificent. The walls were painted white with red and gold boarders, a white marble floor lay beneath her with a red velvet rug that cut the room in two. The most astonishing was the ceiling. It had a large red rose painted so well that it looked real enough to reach out and touch it.  Around the magnificent flower were the symbols for each race, with blue glowing jewels that she could see as clearly as the sun. She looked back toward Xalvigar in astonishment, he chuckled and looked forward. Crystaldawn looked in the same direction and saw standing before her was the entire clan.

Chapter 2

The RestlessKnights

Before Crystaldawn could speak someone within the group shouted “WELCOME!!” Then they all ran over and congratulated her. Crystaldawn beamed and said “Thank you” to all of them.

“Okay how about if we introduce ourselves. I’m Sheri,” said a beautiful, yet dangerous, female elf.

“I’m Reshi,” said a human female fighter with blue wolf fang armor.

“I’m Suena,” said a dwarf from the middle.

“Hi I’m Goodancer,” greeted a dark elf fighter.

“HI I’M STYX!!” another dark elf said loudly.

“Sorry we are missing some members of our clan at the moment, Wrinkles was unable to make it, and DrWatson is out right now,” Sheri apologized.

“There’s no need to be sorry,” Crystaldawn said.

“Thank you, Reshi Xalvigar would you please show her around and show her the room she will stay in?”Sheri asked.

“Of course,” they said at the same time. Leading Crystaldawn across the room, Reshi asked her what level she is, how many pets she has, what the pet levels are, and if she needed anything. She replied with “level forty-nine, four, one hatchling, a baby buffalo level thirty-six, and a baby cougar level twenty-six. She needed B armor, and some hatchling armor and food.” They lead her down a bright hall with blue lights. After passing a few doors they stopped in front of one with a blue and silver frame. Reshi opened the door and the room looked even nicer than the main room. The walls were a really light blue with blue lights lining the middle. The floor was covered by a white carpet. On the left wall there was a dresser and a book shelf. To the right was a desk with a light and some shelves were on the wall above the desk surface. The bed was the most magnificent sight. The blankets were white and lined with a swirling design of sapphire blue and light green, the pillow was the same design as the blankets.

“If you need anything to write with look below the desk,” Reshi said.

“Okay, thank you,” Crystaldawn said putting down her pack. They allowed Crystaldawn to settle in before Reshi returned with Suena.

“I think Suena should show you around instead, since she knows the place better than anyone, other than Styx and I don’t know where he is right now,” Reshi elucidated. He stopped abruptly when he the difference in the room. Crystaldawn had moved the book case to where the desk had been she moved the desk to the far corner of the wall. Crystaldawn was sitting at the desk, writing something.

“What are you writing?” Suena asked. She had somehow moved across the room without Reshi noticing a thing.

“Holy!” Crystaldawn said in alarm.

“What are you writing?” Suena asked again.

“Nothing, really,” she said when she had seen it was only Suena.

“Eh? I know what you’re writing!” Suena exclaimed.

“Ya it’s a story,” Crystaldawn confessed.

“Why don’t you want anyone to see it?” Reshi asked, walking up to the desk.

“Because I know if I did whoever I’d be showing it to would try to take it and read it,” Crystaldawn told him while grabbing it away from Suena, who was trying to read it.

“Well anyways Suena’s going to show you around instead because she knows the place best, other than Styx but I don’t know where he is right now.” Reshi said again.

“Okay!” Crystaldawn said excitedly. It turned out the fortress was a lot bigger than she had expected, as there were ten rooms more than she had thought. The biggest building she had ever seen other than the fortress was the Temple of Eve in Giran, and that was only one room. When they were finished Suena asked what Crystaldawn wanted for lunch. She replied by telling Suena that she had some food in her new room and that’s where they departed.

A few minutes later when Crystaldawn was working on a map, she heard something at the door. She looked over and saw Styx poking his head through the door.

“Hello,” Crystaldawn said smiling. When Styx didn’t say anything she asked, “Do you want to come in?” Apparently that’s what he had been waiting for her to say because he immediately bolted in. Crystaldawn laughed when he sat down next to the desk and panted. She finished a chapter of her book and looked over to see Styx sleeping on the floor. As quietly as she could Crystaldawn crept out and left the door slightly open. She had already memorized the fortress but kept a map that had made just in case. Suddenly she heard a noise behind her. Whirling around Crystaldawn came face to face with none other than…Styx.

“How long have you been following me?” she asked.

“Um … about five minutes,” he replied.

“Well do you need something?” Crystaldawn asked him.

“No,” he said.

“Then why are you following me?” she asked.

“Because Sheri asked me to follow you in case you need help,” Styx answered.

“Well why you don’t go tell her that I said thanks but I’m okay.” Crystaldawn told him.

“I would but she’s busy,” Styx said. Crystaldawn was starting to think he was just playing with her.

“The mobs I’m going after are too hard for you.  If you come with me you might get killed,” Crystaldawn explained.

“So please wait here until I get back.” She said turning around.

“Oh fine,” Styx said and walked off.

(A few days later)

“Crystaldawn…how long has Styx been following you?” Xalvigar asked

“I call him my puppy now,” Crystaldawn said with eyes that pleaded “help me!” Styx smiled happily.

“Styx we’ve been over this before…if someone tells you to stop following them you need to do it,” Xalvigar said sighing.

“But, but, but…” Styx started to say, ears drooping.

“Styx it’s not that I don’t want you around.  The main reason is that I don’t want you to get hurt if I’m fighting monsters that are way above you,” Crystaldawn explained calmly.

“Oh okay,” Styx said looking happier.

“And I’ll take you out to level sometime, okay?” Crystaldawn promised.

“HOORAY!!!” Styx said cheerfully. Crystaldawn smiled and said that she was going to kill some monsters for awhile.

Chapter 3

A mysterious creature

Arriving at her usual hunting grounds, The Enchanted Valley, Crystaldawn found a quiet and almost deserted looking area. She found a large cave that didn’t seem to have anything occupying it. Walking into the cave and making sure no one was around she began to summon something. The ground in front of her began to shimmer and a lavender circle rose from the earth. This circle was called “The Circle of Summons” on this circle were the words that the summoner spoke. They popped out as if they were 3d and shone brightly. The particular summon circle that Crystaldawn was using did not look normal. The circle was about the size of a striders summon circle and seemed to grow redder with each word that passed between Crystaldawns lips. Suddenly the circle burst into red hot flames. The area around it became red with reflecting light. Then the circle exploded red fiery smoke filled the area. When it cleared a pure red ball sat floating quietly in the middle of where the circle had just been moments before. Crystaldawn reached over to the ball and without actually touching it, pushed it towards the entrance of the cave. Once it was out in the open the ball began to radiate a blinding light. The light gathered at the bottom of the magnificent ball and suddenly turned into fire. With another explosion of sparks the ball flew up into the sky and as soon as it left the cool shade from the trees and cliff face it shattered into a million pieces.   Then all was quiet.

Crystaldawn sighed and listened to nature. Birds chirped, talking to one another about what had just occurred, bees buzzed around flowers stealing pollen, and a gentle breeze brushed the trees leaves combing out the dying leaves.  Suddenly there was a loud nicker, Crystaldawn looked for the source of the noise and saw a beautiful horse standing on the ledge in front of her. The magnificent stallion had a beautiful black coat and fiery mane that was literality on fire. The beautiful horse reared onto its back legs and pawed at the sky before jumping off the ledge and trotting over to Crystaldawn.

“Hey there Flame, long time no see” She said to the fiery horse standing before her happily.

“What do you want?” the great horse asked her without moving its mouth.

“By the tone in your voice it seems that you’re not happy to see me” Crystaldawn said with a pout.

“It’s not that,” Flame said “It’s just that there’s been a recent raid with the fang heard and it’s been difficult to get food, look after the young ones and make sure that no one gets separated from the herd because they want to find their own food”

“Oh… let me guess its Pipaluk and Tharon that have been getting into trouble and Gabloda that has been trying to lead the herd again by going somewhere else for food” Crystaldawn asked.

Flame looked at her with a half surprised look on his face and admitted “yes”

Crystaldawn sighed and put a hand on her hip “When are you going to get rid of that guy?” she asked.

“I don’t know” he said “There’s something about him that makes me feel like I need to keep in the heard….”

“Oh forget it! Let’s just go and fight some monsters for awhile,” Crystaldawn said.

Okay, but do you really need me for this, I mean I have a lot of work to do back home…” Flame asked.

“You could use the break, and if you don’t want to fight here than you can go ahead and chose what and where we are going to fight” Crystaldawn offered.

“Hmmm, I think we should go to Ketto ValleyHe said.

“Sounds good, let’s go” Crystaldawn said cheerfully as she pulled out a scroll and placed it onto the brown earth, posing a position with her hands and began to chant. As she chanted the scroll began to shine until it made the area around them completely white. Suddenly the light vanished and along with it went Crystaldawn and Flame.

Chapter 4

Journey

A few months later Crystaldawn had reached great heights in her combat skills. She had been training hard regularly at the training area at the back of the fortress or in new areas filled with monsters. One day when she'd come back after training in a place just outside of Goddard, she found the fortress unusually quiet.

"Huh, that's weird." Crystaldawn said walking around the fortress. Normally there's at least some kind of noise in here. Hmm... I guess I'll ask the guards   Crystaldawn thought. She stopped next to the clan hall and thought for a moment, I wonder what they're doing in the training arena deciding that was the best option Crystaldawn walked out to the back of the fortress. There she saw everyone circled around in the middle of the field.

"Oi~" She called, running up to them. "Why isn't anyone guarding the fortress?" Crystaldawn asked when she reached them.

"I thought Styx and Suena  were guarding it." Reshi said.

"Really? I looked everywhere but I didn't see anyone." She replied.

"They probably went out to play around and goof off again." Sheri said sighing.

"Well in that case what are you guys doing out here?" Crystaldawn asked. had to go to Giran immediately. After Crystaldawn finished packing her belongings containing the most essential items, she went to Styx’s room to help him pack. She found Styx still packing.

“Would you like some help?” she asked him. He looked up and nodded.

“May I see what you have already packed?” Crystaldawn asked settling herself next to him.

                “Sure,” he said.

“Styx you don’t need all this! Candy, an empty box, a small piece of candy, a piece of scrunched up tissue, and…what exactly is this?” Crystaldawn said pulling out what seemed to be a black fluffy rock with twigs stretching out from the sides and some grayish fur that looked as if were from Crimson crowning its top.

“Oh that’s Steve he’s my traveling buddy!” Styx said taking the rock from Crystaldawn.

“Okaaaay, well why don’t you go tell the others to wait for me while I pack your stuff,” she asked him.

“Sure!” Styx said running out the door. Crystaldawn sighed and began packing Styx’s bag.  She finally finished packing and hauling the bags all the way to the main hall. Everyone was waiting there.

“Okay I’m ready,” Crystaldawn said handing Styx his back pack.

“Where is Sheri? Isn’t she coming?” Crystaldawn asked looking around.

“She’s already there,” Suena replied, doing a summersault through the air.

“Wow, you’re excited!” Crystaldawn said.

“Okay let’s go we can’t stand here talking all day” Reshi said clapping his hand to get their attention. They started to leave, but Crystaldawn stopped when she noticed Styx wasn’t coming.

“Come on Styx what are you waiting for?” Reshi called.

“I don’t want to go!” Styx complained.

“COME ON Styx! We don’t have all day!” Reshi yelled.  Crystaldawn shoved Reshi out of the way and called “come Styx, come!”  Immediately Styx ran toward them, stopped in front of Crystaldawn and panted.

“Good dog!” she said, patting him on the head.  When they reached teleportation guide, they discovered that there was a raid at Giran and they had to walk.

“Well…that’s just dandy!”  Reshi said angrily.

                “Why, what’s wrong?” Crystaldawn asked.

“That never works when I try it!”

“Well at least it’s not raining and it’ll be good exercise,” Crystaldawn said. It seemed like forever until they saw Giran. No one ran toward it for no one had the energy. Suddenly Crystaldawn heard the sound of battle. She stopped and looked to the right, where the monsters were at a good distance. Crystaldawn glimpsed a human fighter battling a mob. She instantly recognized the fighter and suddenly ran toward her.

“KELLY!!!!!!!”  She shouted out as she ran towards the figure.

“Cry?!” Reshi called in alarm. Crystaldawn didn’t seem to hear and barreled into Kelly.

“HOLY CRAP!!!”  Kelly said in surprise as she was knocked off her feet. After a moment she recognized the elf that had shoved her to the ground.

“Crystaldawn?!” She said eyes widening in surprise.

“Oh sorry,” Crystaldawn said getting off Kelly.

“You’ve gotten big… is that B grade armor!” Kelly asked.

“Yes,” Crystaldawn said, proud. She suddenly heard footsteps behind her and she looked over to see her companions had come over.

“Oh hey, Guys this is Kelly, Kelly this is my clan.” Crystaldawn introduced.

“Yo!” Kelly said making a piece sign.

“Hey,” the clan said in union.

“Hey Kelly, are you still clan-less?” Crystaldawn asked.

                “Yeah” Kelly said.

“How about you join our clan!” Crystaldawn said excitedly.

“Hmm, let me think about it first, what are you doing here anyway?” Kelly asked.

“Okay, were going to Giran,” Crystaldawn answered.

“Cool, may I come?” asked Kelly.

“Sure!” Crystaldawn said but then she realized the others might not approve. Looking over at them with pleading eyes she asked “Can she? Pleeeease,”

“Okay, it’ll be nice to have another person to talk to.” Reshi agreed for the others. Then unexpectedly Kelly’s eye’s narrowed and charged at Reshi and Xalvigar, hand on her sword. But instead of attacking them, she slipped through the gap between the two, unsheathed her sword and slashed a monster that had been creeping up on them, in half.

“Man you guys are really stupid, how did you not notice that thing?” She asked looked at them with a worried look on her face. They all just gaped at her, other than Crystaldawn.

“Wow Kelly what level are you now?” She asked.

                “Seventy-seven,” said Kelly casually.

“HOLY! How did you get to that level so fast?” Crystaldawn asked in alarm.

“Ummm endless training and hard work?” Kelly said looking confused.

“Anyway let’s get going, I want to reach Giran before the sun goes down” Reshi said when he’s recovered from his shock. They all nodded and began toward the town again. When they reached it Reshi lead them to a town outside of Giran that was north and ten minutes away. There they found a house big enough for them to stay in for awhile. All the while Crystaldawn was silent, when Xalvigar asked her what was wrong she simply said “oh I was just wondering what monsters to kill, since I’ve never been here before” and before he could reply she was gone, off to her room to unpack. Xalvigar noticed that Kelly seemed to know why Crystaldawn was acting so weird, and he aimed to find out.

A few days later Crystaldawn came running up to the clan and announced that Kelly had joined, though she didn’t have tell them for the announcement they got was clear. The next day when Crystaldawn was fighting monsters she caught a glimpse of a dark cloak move behind a tree.

“Hello?” she called, but got no answer. When the sun was just lowering itself down to the earth, Crystaldawn returned back to the village.

“Hey Xalvigar,” she said, walking through the front door.

“Hey Cry!” he said, smiling warmly. She smiled back and asked “where is everyone?”

“Their all out on a raid,” Xalvigar said.

“I stayed behind to lead you to it,” he explained.

“Okay thanks!” she said happily. The two of them then left out the door.
